I love her. 30 years, I tried to tell her, but never could. In this time a lot happened – growing up, education, career, marriage and her husband’s death. I tried till I got cancer 2 years ago.
Her funeral. I’ll try now, again. After all, there is no better ghost in […]

He ranted and raved for nearly an hour, called me every despicable, vile name he could conjure and cursing my family for having had the misfortune of bringing a no brained idiot like myself into the world.
I smiled sweetly and turned off the computer. I’ve found in cyber arguments there are no winners, only losers.

The green bowl, brimming with tiny noodles and nibbles of meatball, sat just out of reach. Luke pounded his tray and burbled with anticipation. How much longer would he have to wait!

“Okolet ek” He said, confusing me at first till I saw what he was pointing at. “Oh, chocolate eggs, sweetie?”
“Okay” He said.
Grrr. Who ever said kids aren’t slick? Heh.

Four eyes scanned the darkened barn.
One green pair glided through the rafters. As the creature turned a corner, it came face to face with the owner of the other pair of eyes.
With a frightened squeak and a meow, the black cat and the bat fled, both never having seen the other kind before.

Far below lay the South Col. He could see the tents. He pressed onwards, despite knowing how foolish it was.
At 4:45 he reached the top, exhausted. He celebrated, then started down.
It was too late. The storm trapped him.
Alone, at the top of the world, death came quickly.

Noone expected naming the baby would take such time and effort. After days of discussions, rejecting hundreds of names and trying to please the entire family, they finally agreed on one.
A day later, they had to begin the process again.
Reason? In their excitement, they forgot to check if the domain name was available.
