Absorbing details of his face, she began smiling and laughing. She knew others must think her mad, but that’s exactly what she wasn’t anymore. She’d forgiven him for abandoning her, and now was filled with joy at the memories of their love. She wanted to remember them, once more, as she finally gazed upon him.
