“Was that spider very poisonous?” the intrepid explorer asked his guide, watching the bite on his ankle swell. It was already turning a funny colour.
They were miles from anywhere, in difficult country, not the best place for such a thing to happen.
“We will see, senor,” the guide said and settled down to wait
