A little challenge

You have been reading stories at this blog for the past few days, isn’t it time that you start participating too? Here’s a small challenge. The story below is incomplete. Just complete the story and also suggest a title for it. I’ve already used 40 out of the 55 words, so you can use a maximum of 15 words to complete the story and a maximum of 7 words for the title. There is no right or wrong ending to a story, so let your imagination run wild. Just make sure it isn’t violent or vulgar.

You can either mail me (maruthi at b5media.com) the ending and title or leave them as comments. I’ll update the post on Friday with all the entries.

Here’s the story. What are you waiting for?

I saw that big scary man gazing at me intently. I tried to avoid him, but slowly, i grew nervous, inspite of the huge crowd at the carnival. I started running, he followed. Suddenly a dead end, nowhere to go.

Update 1:
Thanks Sasha and Jonic for completing the story. Interestingly, I had also thought of the same ending as Jonic’s (his first one) :)

Sasha:

Then I laughed uncontrollably when I remembered that I was in the House of Mirrors.

Jonic:

It turns out that I’d forgotten my change from when I bought candy floss earlier.

He reached inside his coat and I closed my eyes.

“You dropped this”, he said.
